On May 28, 2023, on the Day of Kyiv, our Club hosted a spring rank-test of our students for new belts. From the bottom of our hearts, we want to congratulate all candidates on successfully passing the exam and obtaining new ranks.

We want to thank all the students who worked hard throughout this extremely difficult school year. Due to almost daily rocket attacks on the capital, the last month of preparation for the rank-test turned out to be especially difficult. However, this did not prevent all candidates from successfully preparing and demonstrating excellent results of their work. This fact was especially noted by the rank-test commission. Therefore, we are incredibly proud of our students, because we know that you are the best among us and capable of anything.

We also want to express our deepest gratitude to our parents. Without you and your support, all this would simply be impossible to implement. Thank you for your trust. Thank you for being with us. Thank you for finding an opportunity in such difficult times for the children to continue the training process. Your contribution is invaluable.

We also want to express our deep gratitude to the KNEU sports complex for the excellent conditions for the exam and the entire rank-test commission for helping to make this day a real holiday for children and parents. Separately, we want to express our deep gratitude to the head of the commission – Mykhailo Valeriyovych Dudko (Head of the Department of Physical Education of KNEU, Master of Sports of Ukraine, champion of Ukraine and Europe in freestyle wrestling, champion of Ukraine, Europe and the World in bench press) for all-round support in all our endeavors.

Bow to the ground to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the opportunity to live and work. Because we can only do this under the Ukrainian flag. A separate bow to the ground to the air defense forces of Ukraine. No words are enough to express our gratitude.

Summing up all of the above, we want to thank everyone who was with us during this difficult academic year. We practiced despite the blackouts. We trained, despite the periodic shutdowns of heating and interruptions in water supply. We trained despite rocket attacks and UAV attacks. It’s been a difficult year. But he tempered us well and showed who we are and what we stand for. Thanks to everyone who went through it with us. You are incredible.

We work further. After all, we managed to resume training in all three of our dojos and bring the number of training sessions almost to the level that was before russia’s large-scale invasion of Ukraine. Sure. that with such a team and such students, we are ready for any challenge. And we know it will only get better.

Now we are starting preparations for the summer camp, which we will inform you later, and we continue the training process, which will last until the end of June in all our dojos. Be with us.

Sincerely,
The coaching staff of the Club of Applied Aikido “Lazar”
