Dear parents and students of the Club of Applied Aikido “Lazar”. We would like to remind you that during the autumn school holidays all dojos continue to work in the usual training mode. There will be no schedule changes.
On October 12, the coaches of the Club of Applied Aikido ” Lazar”, Yuriy Petrovichev and Valery Prykhodchenko, visited the city of Pavlograd, Dnipropetrovsk Region, at the invitation of our friends and colleagues from the club “Shershen”. The training day seemed extremely busy! Children’s and adult training, analysis of Applied Aikido techniques and much more, which resulted in almost a whole day of training from morning till late evening.
The Club of Applied Aikido “Lazar” officially reports about the end of the 2018/19 school season. We are grateful to everyone for a wonderful year, which brought many achievements and helped to set new goals for the next season. Today we would like to summarize what we have done and realized.
On May 18, 2019, the head coach of our Club, Yuriy Petrovichev, paid a training visit to the city of Pavlograd, Dnipropetrovsk Region.
On May 11, 2019, we visited the live TV channel “Kyiv” as guests of the show “Kyiv Morning”. We were glad to tell viewers about Applied Aikido, its features and nuances. We talked about the specifics of our approach to educating students and what to look for while choosing a sport section for a child.
If you missed the interview with our head coach Yuri Petrovichev on OBOZ TV – we are happy to share the recording. The reasons why parents send their children to the aikido section were discussed. They thought about what to do with child aggression and whether to surrender. We talked about discipline, self-discipline, education and much more. The difference between Japanese and European aikido and why we chose the Serbian style for ourselves.
On March 15-17, 2019, a seminar on Applied Aikido was held in Kyiv under the leadership of the President of the International Federation of Applied Aikido Radoica Spasovic, Black Belt, 9 Dan SOKE. The seminar was also attended by students and trainers of the Club of Applied Aikido “Lazar”. And on March 17, at the end of the seminar, a big rank test took place.

On Saturday, January 26, 2019, we conducted the first joint training session for adults and older teens from all of our dojos. We are glad that the students from Poznyaky and Borshchagovka gathered for the lesson, and, of course, the guys who were studying in the dojo on Beresteyskaya, which sheltered us all, pulled themselves together.
