Many parents often ask questions about how to maintain the health of their children, how to raise them fully developed, how to get them away from the computer and more. During the computerization of society and the development of gadgets, which are only gaining momentum every year, these questions become more acute. The workload at school, which the students take off, allegedly “relaxing” at the computer, negatively affects their vision, posture, and health in general. Therefore, exercise is extremely important for a child’s development. Not only physical, but also psychological.

It is worth noting that many famous personalities are actively involved in sports, hiring personal trainers for this or building their own gyms at home. Some people prefer oriental martial arts, while these are not always actors like Van Dam, Chuck Norris, Jason Stethem, etc. Among the famous residents of Hollywood, martial arts are preferred by such stars as:

  • Mel Gibson.
  • Milla Jovovich.
  • Nicolas Cage.
  • Guy Ritchie and many others.

Elvis Presley was also fond of martial arts. This list can be continued for a very long time. After all, martial arts develop not only physical strength.

The first reason we recommend enrolling a child in aikido is very simple. In training, in addition to physical development, we necessarily instill:

  • respect for elders and loved ones;
  • discipline;
  • organization;
  • attentiveness;
  • diligence.

And this is only a part of what a child gets when doing martial arts.

Further, parents always have the question of what exactly to choose so that it is not traumatic for the child, but at the same time allows him to develop physically. And this is the second reason why it is worth enrolling a child in aikido. Applied Aikido is a self-defense system that has been adapted specifically for children.

The training program for children is designed in such a way as to contribute to his harmonious physical and psychological development.

And at the same time, which is very important, the likelihood of injury to a growing organism is minimized.

The third reason to enroll your child in aikido is socialization. There is no competitive goal in Applied Aikido. Why there is no competition in aikido can be found in this article. In training, we have friends and partners with whom the child learns to be friends, cooperate, communicate and develop together. At the same time, any techniques of Applied Aikido must be done in pairs, which allows the child to socialize, build relationships with people around him and in the future it is easier to find a common language with peers, a new team, etc.

Another important point in the training process is the ability to set goals to achieve them. And this is the fourth reason why it is important to enroll a child in aikido. Yes, we do not have competitions, but we have qualifications for belts.

Firstly, any external manifestations of the achievement of results are important for the child. And changing the belt is a big motivation.

Secondly, rank tests are not so frequent as to become an ordinary and commonplace phenomenon. This is an event worth preparing for.

Third, the darker the belt, the greater the gap between rank tests.

Thus, the child first gets a goal for which he needs to go and prepare. And this is not a goal for one or two workouts. And not even for one month. The further, the more difficult the rank program becomes and the longer the time between tests. To reach the next step, more effort is needed, which teaches the child to set goals and achieve them. And the higher the goal, the more efforts must be made to achieve it.

And the fifth reason why we recommend that you register your child with us is the attention that he will receive from the coaches of our Club. We strive to work with every child, relying precisely on his physical data, whatever they may be. There are 3 coaches at the trainings, which allows us to pay attention to each practitioner. Thus, you can be sure that we will be able to find an approach to the child and give him enough attention at any stage of the class, from a beginner to an already experienced aikidoka.

If you want your child to develop comprehensively, both physically and psychologically, we, of course, recommend playing sports in general, and martial arts in particular. If you want to bring your child to us, you can be sure that your child will receive:

  • discipline and mutual respect;
  • socialization and new friends;
  • the ability to set goals and achieve them;
  • a load that will help him to develop physically harmoniously, without harming the health of the growing body;
  • attention from coaches.
